So I'm home. Discharge did not take as long as I thought it would which is a miracle if you have ever experienced the healthcare system. It's crazy to think that I was walking out of the hospital on my own less than 24hr after they opened my skull. Overall I'm doing really good. we went to Panera on our way home for lunch. I'm a little tired but nothing unreasonable. So just getting settled in and laying low.
Thank you all for the love, prayers, support and so forth. I know that I would not be about to get through everything that has been going on if I didn't have such a wonderful army of people surrounding me.
It’s really amazing you are home after such a surgery like that. God is good. We are praying for you and your family sweetheart. Can’t wait to fellowship soon.
Praise Jesus! We missed you at MCC today and prayed over you! We love you!
So glad to hear you are doing so well. To even stop at Panara on the way home! Don't push yourself too far but take time to allow God to heal your body! We are praying for complete restoration of your body. You are loved!
You never cease to amaze me!!! I bet those Panera employees had no idea what was standing in front of them...someone less than 24 hrs out of brain surgery! You are brave, strong, and smart and continue to prove that (as if we needed a reminder!). Hope these days are peaceful and restful!
So glad to hear you are home Emily! Doug and I are praying for you and hoping with you! It is amazing how much love and grace you exude as you go through all of this. You are such a beautiful person. <3
